Almonds

Ingrid

Almond Ingrid is the most reliable cropper of the selected Almond varieties across the UK

Excellent fruiting quality, the nuts are pale green with a velvety texture and delicious flavours

Beautiful light pink blossom is one of the earliest blossoms to arrive in the spring, adding a lovely ornamental feature to the tree

Almond Ingrid will tolerate any moderately fertile soils as long as they are well-drained. Best planted in a sunny but slightly sheltered location. The late frosts can damage the early blossom, so they’re much happier grown in a sheltered position.

Princess

A highly attractive and compact tree with clouds of scented white blossom in spring

Produces high quality sweet almonds in soft shells from late September

Almond Princess is self-fertile so you only need on tree for a good crop that can be eaten straight from the tree or used in baking and desserts

Grow in full sun on a south or west facing wall, or in a greenhouse or conservatory

This tree will produce a significant crop within 3 years

Robijn

Almond Robijn is a wonderful sweet tasting nutritious nut. Used to produce almond milk, oil, butter, flour or paste.

Beautiful delicate pinkish-white flowers in the spring make this a stunning ornamental tree too, although slightly later than other varieties

Partial frost resistance and excellent resistance to leaf curl

Will tolerate any moderately fertile soils as long as they are well-drained. Best planted in a sunny but slightly sheltered location. The late frosts can damage the early blossom, so they’re much happier grown in a sheltered position. Great for southern areas of the UK!
