Herbaceous Perennials

Herbaceous Perennials

4th August 2021

Herbaceous perennials are the mainstay of garden beds and borders.  Stems die back in the autumn/winter with the roots surviving below ground level until they re-appear in spring. Great for adding texture and colour to your summer garden.

Combine the planting of herbaceous perennials with evergreen shrubs to avoid empty spaces over late autumn and winter.

Some of these plants are also important pollinators, providing essential nectar for bees, beneficial insects, butterflies and moths with their nectar rich flowers.

Choose from an extensive selection in store now including anemones, delphiniums, nepeta, phlox, crocosmia, gaura, heuchera, verbena, kniphofia and many more!
